Use this guide to diagnose common issues in provider credentials, project keys, and cloud provider connections.
Provider Credential Issues
Provider list is empty
Cause: provider catalog did not load. Fix:- Reload the page and retry.
- Clear provider search input.
- Confirm backend provider endpoints are reachable.
Cannot create provider credential
Cause: required provider field is missing or invalid. Fix:- Review all required dynamic form fields.
- Validate URL/email formatted fields where required.
- Retry after correcting values.
Secret value not visible
Cause: value remains masked. Fix:- Use the eye icon to reveal.
- If copy fails, retry clipboard action in a secure browser context.
Project Key Issues
Create button remains disabled
Cause: one or more required fields missing. Fix:- Ensure Credential Name, Project, Set Expiry, and Set Max Budget are all set.
Invalid max budget
Cause: non-numeric or empty budget value. Fix:- Enter numbers only.
- Provide a positive value.
Expiry is incorrect
Cause: wrong expiry option selected. Fix:- Edit the key and select the correct value (30 or 60 days).
Cloud Provider Issues (Dev Mode)
Cloud Providers tab not visible
Cause: environment does not have dev mode enabled. Fix:- Confirm environment configuration for dev mode.
Unable to connect provider
Cause: provider-specific required field missing or invalid. Fix:- Reopen Connect To Cloud and review all required inputs.
- Validate credentials with cloud provider independently.
Deletion and Recovery Notes
- Deletions require confirmation in the drawer flow.
- If a key was removed accidentally, recreate it and rotate consumers to the new value.
