# Troubleshooting Playground

> Resolve common Playground access, response, and session issues

## Quick Diagnostic Flow

    **Cause**: Session token is missing or expired.

    **Fix**:

    1. Re-authenticate in Bud Admin.
    2. Refresh the page.
    3. Verify you have permissions for the selected project.

    **Cause**: Incorrect model binding, unavailable endpoint, or invalid settings.

    **Fix**:

    1. Re-select model in the pane.
    2. Retry with default generation settings.
    3. Test with a shorter prompt.

    **Cause**: High temperature or prompt ambiguity.

    **Fix**:

    1. Lower temperature.
    2. Add explicit format constraints.
    3. Use a fixed prompt template for evaluation.

## When to Escalate

Escalate to platform support when:

* Access failures persist after re-login.
* Multiple models fail across projects.
* Response latency spikes suddenly for previously stable prompts.
